Hatemail and funnies all in one day?

Well, well, well... I received my first message of disgust today (Technically last night but I go to bed early so I didn't get it until this morning). What a pleasure it was to be told how self centred, selfish and bitchy I am.  A lot of what was said was quite personal and only somebody that knows me well could know the details spewed forth. Hmmmm.... I am dying to know who you are. Please come forth!

How dare I cast stones from my glass house you ask? This is what makes me, me. My ability to critique the world is one of my attributes. I know I am far from perfect; I could stand to lose a few pounds, cut down on caffeine and get a handle on my temper. Overall though, I am a pretty good person. I do my part when it comes to saving the planet, helping animals in need and voting. Just because I have a general distaste for humans, it does not mean I am bad, it means I have a realistic view of what goes on around me.

I am a work in progress and will be until the day I die. I have lived most of my life not caring what people's opinions of me are and will continue to do so. My actions and reactions will not always be desirable but my heart is usually in the right place. I will also remain a contributing member of society, maybe not in conventional ways but in ways that I think best for myself, my family and the longevity of our planet and ALL living things.

Should more people choose to write hatemail, lovemail or just leave comments, keep in mind that I am open to almost anything you have to say. However, please make sure your mail and/or comments are educated and intelligent. If not, in all likelihood, I will not make it through the first sentence and your words will fall on deaf ears.

Now for the fun stuff... A friend emailed this to me and I absolutely loved it and had to share. So thank you friend and I am sure those who read this will thank you too. Feel free to laugh heartily... I did.
